ODM's Philip Etale Narrates Troubling Traffic Incident Along Ngong Road

ODM's Director of Communication Philip Etale on Monday described an incident that occurred while in traffic that humbled him.

Taking to his social media, Etale narrated that he was driving along Ngong road when he noticed a luxury car being driven on the wrong side of the road.

The senior ODM official added that the rogue driver made a wrong turn causing him to block other road users and that is when Etale confronted him.

"I told him, "This is wrong bro". He responded, "barabara si ya mamako (this road does not belong to your mother) mind your business"," he wrote on Twitter.

Etale disclosed that the insult caught him by surprise and affected him greatly responding with a meek "I'm sorry,"

He went further to explain that: "I didn't want to argue much with him. The fact that he mentioned my mother humbled me. You know why?

"This business of people insulting others with 'mamako' must stop. Some of us wish we had them around," he conveyed.

User online noted that they had observed such drivers arrogantly flaunting traffic rules.

"These VX and V8 ppl are notorious lawbreakers on the road. It's like all those cars have strobe lights on the grill and siren. They do whatever they want even in front of police officers,"
 one user stated.

Another went ahead and advised that Etale should have taken a picture of the car's number plate and reported to the relevant authorities.
