Mpesa Foundation Academy Student Joyce Nyawira Stuns Uhuru With Question on His Legacy

A student on Wednesday forced President Uhuru Kenyatta to reveal his two-legacy pillars that he hopes will be the hallmarks of his tenure at the presidency.

Although many people believe that the Big Four Agenda will be Jubilees main achievements, Uhuru disclosed that this is not what he wants to be remembered for.

Responding to a question by Joyce Nyawira, a student at Mpesa Foundation Academy in Thika, Uhuru divulged that a united Kenya that is devoid of corruption will be his best legacy.

"What is the one thing that you would point and say Uhuru did this and you will never forget?" Nyawira posed.

The question appeared to have caught the Head of State by surprise as he took a deep sigh before he voiced his answer a few seconds later.

"Wow. I hope many things. But one is that I will leave a cohesive, united society.

"Secondly, I hope that we will have won the war on corruption," Uhuru stated as the gathering celebrated.

Many netizens have in the past opined that it would be better for Uhuru to abandon the Big Four Agenda and root the runway corruption witnessed in the country.

Going by the response he gave on Wednesday, the President appears to have embraced this call.

However, Uhuru has on numerous occasions voiced his desire to get rid of tribalism, ethnic and religious discord that often escalate to clashes during the electoral cycle.

This saw him embrace the "Building Bridges To A New Kenyan Nation" initiative with opposition leader Raila Odinga.
