NTV journalist Dennis Okari who recently got married posted a picture of himself and his wife Naomi Joy on social media.
The anchor on Saturday updated his profile photo on his FaceBook and Instagram page to include his spouse - a gesture that melted the hearts of Kenyans online.
The new picture elicited reactions from netizens, two hours after it was posted it had garnered over 6,000 likes and 700 comments with a majority passing their congratulatory messages to the couple.
On his Instagram profile, he added "Husband to my Joy" to his description with a playful photo of his wife as his profile picture.
One user wrote, "Am happy for you Dennis, all the best in your marriage."
"Congratulations Dennis. May our heavenly Father bless your union," another user by the name Carolyne Banu noted.
Jayne Njoki posted, "Congratulations to the newest couple on the block."
On Friday 15, Okari got married in a private affair ceremony where only invited guests were granted access to the venue.
The wedding ceremony started off with a church service at Ridgeways Baptist Church on Kiambu Road and in the afternoon, they drove off to Windsor Golf Club for a pink-themed after party.
