K24 TV anchor Betty Kyallo has been teasing her interview with West Pokot Governor John Lonyangapuo for the past few days on her social media profiles.
The journalist most recently revealed that the Governor showed her some survival tactics in the countryside (ushago).
In a clip shared on her Instagram, on Thursday, Lonyangapuo is seen demonstrating to Betty how to manoeuvre through a barbed wire without injuring herself.
There are two men who separate the evenly spaced wires to make room for a person to pass through.
As the governor goes through the fence, he explains, "You have to take care you don't hit the wire."
When it is Betty's turn, the county head advises for her to make her way slowly to which the journalist obliges.
She carefully makes her way through leading with one leg and finally, the rest of her body makes it through the space.
Victorious and on the other side, Betty exclaims, "You see I'm flexible, I made it though."
Earlier on Monday, Betty revealed that she had acquired a new name which was given to her by West Pokot Governor.
"My new Pokot name Asis Sotin Cheporwala (Sun) given by the people and the good Governor John Lonyangapuo. Good morning," she wrote on her social media.
Betty described Lonyangapuo as a lively guest, "For real, he is hilarious! Such an amazing leader. Enjoying the shoot. You guys will love it!"
