Rare Glimpse Into Kidero's Gigantic Muthaiga Mansion [PHOTOS]

Former Nairobi Governor, Evans Kidero, is one man who needs little introduction.

The source of his wealth has been questioned by many, but the sheer beauty of his colossal Muthaiga mansion has been questioned by none.

Sitting on multiple acres in the leafy suburb, the dreamy house borrowed its style from Roman architecture, complete with cathedral themed pillars and insanely high ceilings.

At the height of its sumptuousness, it can be simply described as the jewel of the posh estate, as very few can match its grandeur.

The house is one of those ones rich people buy when they get paranoid about having too much money. It's like a fortress, tall gates with more security gadgets than a military compound.

One can not miss the brightly coloured bricks marking the walkway across the perfectly manicured lawn, which look like they were laid one at a time, perhaps on a fine summer day.

In 2017, affluent city lawyer, Donald Kipkorir shared a photo himself alongside the former governor at his posh residence, and Kenyans couldn't help but notice how tiny the two looked while standing on the patio of the humongous house.

The extremely high ceilings form part of the appeal and charm of the former governor's residence.

It is believed that high ceilings are related to a general preference for space as well as a psychological sense of freedom.

Records from the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC), publicized during his corruption case hearing, placed Muthaiga's house in the Ksh300 million category in terms of value.

Its safe to say Kidero loves the finer things in life.
