Citizen TV's Hussein Mohamed in Stitches After Tuju's Resignation Joke [VIDEO]

Citizen TV news anchor Hussein Mohamed was left in stitches after Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju joked about his resignation from the station.

Tuju, during the interview that was held on Tuesday, October 8, asked the news anchor if he could replace him at Royal Media Services.

"I'm told you're leaving this place and maybe you could shed some light on that. Just in case Jubilee disintegrates, I could probably apply for your job," the Jubilee secretary general stated amid laughter from Hussein.

On his part, Hussein welcomed him back to the media and also joked about taking up Tuju's job in Jubilee.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the cabinet secretary worked as a news anchor.

He was also a producer and director of several documentaries, radio and TV commercials for international agencies, public sector institutions, and private-sector bodies.

On Friday, October 4, the renowned journalist took to his Twitter page to announce his exit after 10 years at the station.

"It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed and relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS.

I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics and everything in between. See you soon," he posted on his Twitter page.
