Churchill Saved My Daughter - Employee Opens Up

Milly Chebby, a popular influencer who works as a stage manager on Churchill Show, opened up on how her boss, veteran comedian Daniel 'Churchill' Ndambuki helped save her one-year-old daughter.

Taking to Instagram, Chebby who is married to comedian Lawrence Macharia alias Terrence Creative, intimated how Churchill came to her rescue at a crucial moment during her pregnancy.

The social media influencer shared the emotional story as she marked her daughter Milla's first birthday.

Chebby disclosed that three months into the pregnancy, while she was at work, she started experiencing complications and it was Churchill who stepped in alongside colleagues to rush her to hospital. The situation was so bad that Chebby thought she could lose her unborn child.

After making sure that she had received medical attention, Churchill gave her a one month paid leave to take care of herself and the baby.

"At three months pregnant while at work, I spotted and thought I would lose you (child), but thank God for my good employer Churchill.

"My colleagues rushed me to hospital and by the guidance of my gynaecologist the spotting was managed and my good boss gave me one month paid leave for bed rest," Chebby wrote.

She also revealed that seven months into the pregnancy, Milla's heartbeat couldn't be observed during check-ups. However, the heartbeat was finally registered after 10 attempts.

Chebby disclosed that after birth on February 1, 2019, her daughter was diagnosed with a tumour in her stomach that was attached to her liver.

"At two weeks check-up, we discovered she had a tumour in her tummy attached to her liver and my heart sunk again, but by the help of my gynaecologist, we got a good surgeon who operated on her successfully," she wrote.

Chebby disclosed that Milla had since grown into a healthy, happy child.

Chebby met her husband, Terrence Creative, at a Churchill Show production in 2013 when he worked as a creative director for the show while she was a stage manager.
