Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju, is finally back on his feet following his tragic accident on February 12.

On Thursday, March 12, during a press conference from Karen Hospital, he recalled the events that followed after he was airlifted from the scene of the accident after orders from President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"My lungs collapsed because I had 13 broken ribs and doctors had to make the life and death decision by removing the life support system so that I would go for specialised treatment in London," he narrated.

He thanked the entire medical team at Karen Hospital for their brave and professional decision making which he claimed was key to ensuring he survived.

Photos of the Cabinet Secretary without a portfolio at his Karen mansion emerged across various social media platforms earlier on in the day.

Tuju jetted back into the country from the UK on March 6, after successful advanced treatment of his injuries.

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi was also seen in several of the photos, in what has since been established to be a courtesy call.

The senator was accompanied by the independence party current Secretary-General, Nick Salat, and other influential loyalists.

Ruto plated the role of host as the delegation of friends spent the better part of the evening of Wednesday, with the CS and his family.

He was involved in a tragic accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway while en route to the late President Daniel arap Moi's burial ceremony on February 12.
