Popular K24 TV news anchor Betty Kyallo tore into her critics in a hard-hitting, expletive-laden rant that went viral on Monday, March 30.

The Upclose With Betty host took to her Instagram live, with a friend of hers in the video who was seen trying to get her to stop the recording.

A visibly fed-up Betty lamented about the pressure that comes with her career and the constant scrutiny into her life, dismissing critics who accuse her of not being a proper role model to the younger generation.

"Everybody out there who thinks that Betty's not good enough, saying she's not a role model; oh my gosh, I don't care.

"Because I do my best, I work hard, I'm a mum, not yet a wife but hopefully soon, I'm a businesswoman. So for everyone that's going to hate on this video saying oh Betty Kyallo was spotted drunk, [expletive] you," she stated.

She asserted that the most important thing to her was being a role model to her daughter, Ivanna.

"I take care of my child, Ivanna. I'm her role model. And then someone wants to tell me I'm her daughter's role model so don't go to the club. Hey, I have to dance. I want to go to the club, I want to have a good time.

"I mean, the pressure in this [expletive] career is horrible," she asserted.

Towards the end of the video, Betty could be heard insisting that she would not stop the live video despite her friend constantly asking her to do so.

The video sparked all sorts of reactions online, with her fans encouraging her to ignore the voices constantly criticizing her.

Thanks to her popularity, Betty's personal life has been the subject of numerous tabloid headlines on her family and love life.

She, however, remains one of the most sought after media personalities in the country with her show, a constant rating hit.
