Busia Senator Amos Wako used his chance to speak to call for unity among the leaders. He led the leaders present to hold hands in a show of unity which ignited chuckles among those present.

"Whatever Senator Khaniri has said, I fully support. What Senator Malala has said, I fully support. What my brothers Musalia, Wetangula will say, I support. I also support the sentiments that will be expressed by my party leader Raila Odinga and my neighbor in Karen William Ruto. I support all," Wako stated.

Senator Malala, in jest, described Wako as "a typical Luhya who supports everything".
