Presidential contender George Wajackoyah warmed the heart of his lookalike identified as Gordon Owino after he gifted him a watch estimated to cost millions of shillings.
The two durag wearers met by chance on Saturday, July 23, when Owino - who was in the company of Obinna Ikee Igwee, popularly known as comedian Oga Obinna, arrived at his office to film an upcoming show titled Kula Cooler.
Wajackoyah was visibly shocked to see Owino, who sports a white beard and was wearing a black durag and a denim jacket.
After exchanging pleasantries, the legal scholar opened his safe that holds valuable watches including one valued at Ksh18 million supported with a fiber strap.
From the safe, the politician got another expensive watch, with a hemp strap and a shiny gold-plated surface, that he gave Owino and helped him put it on.
"This watch is one of the most expensive Gold watches in the world. I am a watch collector," stated the politician.
"For this one, always wear it on your right. This is Hemp. I bestow this watch to you. I have never given this kind of gift to anyone n the world.
"Only my grandson who is in Spain, I gave him a Ksh7 million watch," noted Wajackoyah while remaining tight-lipped over the price of Owino's new watch.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Wajackoyah noted that he was shocked to meet his own lookalike and was looking forward to working with him.
"I was shocked to meet him. I saw them (photos) while in New York. I am still out of Nairobi but when I come back, we shall make a plan to get him on board," he explained.
At the meeting, Owino was also gifted an undisclosed amount of money and promised to be enjoined in the presidential candidate's sporadic roster of campaigns.
"We are going to seat in a Lexus 570," he announced while inviting the doppelganger on his campaign trail.
