The media practitioner has had a 20-year-stellar career at various TV stations in the country. He holds an MSc in Environmental Governance from the University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management from Egerton University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi, and a certificate in Advanced Studies in Environmental Diplomacy from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
He is currently Citizen TV's Editorial Director, and hosts the News Gang show every Thursday where together with other journalists, they analyse political matters.
Ageyo worked for NTV owned by Nation Media Group from February 2005 where he also served as Head of News Production. He also worked for the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation and Kenya Television Network (KTN).
The year 2020 saw him play a leading role in calling out politicians and public institutions involved in embezzlement of public funds through the News Gang.
Ageyo this year interviewed Deputy President William Ruto on the fall-out in the Jubilee party. The controversial interview was one of the most watched as had the DP address some of the most cardinal issues affecting the ruling party.
