Francis Amonde

At just 30 years old, Francis Amonde has managed to keep hundreds of learners in school even as the country wages the worst drought in decades.

His idea to start Cup of Uji, an initiative aimed at supplying flour to schools from low income areas, kicked off in 2011 after he noted that some pupils attended school on an empty stomach.

Githinji Gitahi

Since 2015, Dr Githinji Gitahi has been at the helm of Amref Health Africa spearheading its operations across several countries within the country. He serves as its Group Chief Executive Officer.

The organisation, which is the largest African-led international organisation, has been at the forefront of championing for health breakthroughs in Kenya - fighting diseases such as Tuberculosis.

Joe Ageyo

Joe Ageyo is a household name having worked in several media houses in the country. 

Ageyo registers one of the most impressive resumes of service in various capacities and in different departments.

His career spans over 20 years as an intern, reporter, manager, and director in more than three media organisations. 

Kennedy Odede

Kennedy Odede is a community worker and founder of the Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) - an organisation based in Kibera slums.

Through his intervention, the organisation- founded in 2004- has been able to help thousands of slum dwellers through food relief, health care and economic initiatives.

Johnson Sakaja

Johnson Sakaja is the current Governor of Nairobi County, following his election to the position on the August 9, 2022, General Election. 

He previously served as the County's Senator for five years between 2017 and 2022. The politician has worked at Pricewatercoopers (PwC), and a cyber cafe before setting up a financial consultancy firm, Arthur Johnson Consultants. '

Francis Gachuri

Francis Gachuri is a Senior Political Reporter, Editor, and Commentator at Citizen TV under Royal Media Services. 

Gachuri also works as News Presenter at Inooro TV, a subsidiary of Royal Media Services.

At Inooro, Gachuri is a host of the Kiririmbi show which airs every Sunday from 8 pm to 9 pm. 

Mohamed Badi

Mohammed Badi is the former Director General of the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS). 

The General was tasked with the responsibility of transforming Nairobi city by former president Uhuru Kenyatta. The Retired Army man has a Master’s Degree of Science in Strategic Studies and has worked for over thirty years as Government Certification Officer.

Latiff is also a radio host at Spice FM radio which is owned by Standard Media Group. He hosts the Situation Room, a popular conversational show focusing on political and current affairs.

Dennis Onsarigo

Dennis Onsarigo is the Chief of Staff at the Nyamira County government.

He was appointed by Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo on October 28, to help him execute his mandates in his second term in office.

Fred Matiang'i

Fred Matiang'i is the immediate former Interior Cabinet Secretary under Uhuru Kenyatta's administration. 

Prior to joining politics, Matiang'i served as the Eastern Africa Regional Representative for the Centre for International Development, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, in the State University of New York (SUNY).
