The Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) on Tuesday, July 10, announced a memorial service following the death of its founder, bishop Allan Kiuna who passed away on the fateful day.
In a press statement shared by the deceased wife, Cathy Kiuna, the church described the televangelist as an extraordinary man who touched the lives of many and had a great passion for ministering.
According to JCC, the deceased had unwavering faith, compassion, and dedication to the church and the community that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
“As a church and as a family, we appreciate the outpouring of love and support, especially from our church family,” read part of the statement by JCC.
To celebrate and remember Bishop Kiuna's life, JCC has organized a series of memorial services that will kick off on Wednesday this week.
From Wednesday, July 10 to Friday, July 12, 2024 evening services will be held at JCC Parklands from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
On Saturday, July 13, 2024, a memorial service will take place from 2 am to 5 am. On Sunday, July 14 a special worship service will be held starting at 9 am.
While announcing the death of the preacher, JCC requested privacy as we go through this challenging time of mourning and reflection.
“Today, we welcome you to join us in praying for the family and church at large. With humility, we kindly ask for privacy during this time of mourning.”

Bishop Kiuna passed away on Tuesday while receiving treatment at the Nairobi hospital where he had been rushed after his condition deteriorated.
The 57-year-old reportedly passed on at around noon, before his body was transferred to the Lee Funeral Home.
