IPSOS Lead Researcher Tom Wolf Advises Raila Odinga on How to Beat Uhuru Kenyatta

National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has received advice on how to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta from an unlikely source.

A day after research firm IPSOS released an opinion poll showing Odinga narrowing Kenyatta's lead, its lead researcher Tom Wolf has given the Opposition Chief advice that may see him beat Uhuru in the coming elections.

In an article published in a local newspaper, Wolf suggested that the NASA leader could capitalise on massive voter turnout in its strongholds to send Jubilee home.

With the poll showing that majority of Kenyans from Jubilee strongholds (52%) expressing that the country is heading in the wrong direction, Wolf suggested that turnout in the Jubilee strongholds could be low.

He also suggested that an energising/captivating campaign could see Raila close the gap and eventually beat Uhuru.

The poll revealed that 8% are undecided on who to support, hence, a captivating campaign could see Odinga win over a substantial fraction of the undecided voters that could determine who wins the race to State House.

The poll further revealed that 1% of those polled would not vote because they have lost faith in politicians and feel that their vote does not determine the leadership of the country.

A massive 71% of those polled believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction.
