NASA Reveals Raila Odinga's Presidential Campaign Team

The August elections are just two months away and the political arena is already hotting up.

Late night meetings and strategic plans are being drawn to see who will emerge victorious as campaign teams shape up.

The National Super Alliance has revealed a 12-member team, comprising 10 men and two women, that will spearhead Raila Odinga's presidential bid and there are some prominent names in the list.

The team comprises of Senators James Orengo (Siaya), Johnstone Muthama (Machakos) and Agnes Zani (Nominated), Governor Hassan Joho (Mombasa), MPs Junet Mohamed (Suna East), Memusi Kanchori (Kajiado Central) and Timothy Bosire (Kitutu Masaba).

Others are former Committee of Experts chairman Nzamba Kitonga, Kipyegon Sang, Cynthia Mutere, Brown Makotsi, Olga Karani and former Housing Permanent Secretary Tirop Kosgey.

This team will be under the leadership of NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi who has been tasked with ensuring that campaigns run smoothly and will be the decision-making organ of Raila's Presidential bid.

They are also expected to act as a link between other campaign teams and the candidate, ensuring all parties are briefed on progress and strategies.

Mudavadi also revealed that they would hold weekly meetings to debrief and map out areas and issues relevant to the campaign.

"We will be responsible for mapping issues and institutions relevant to the campaign, including those relating to the political landscape, the electoral process and messaging on key political issues," he remarked.
