A seven-storey building on Monday night (10:00 pm) collapsed at Kware area, in the densely populated Pipeline estate, Nairobi.
Embakasi police boss stated that 121 people had been accounted for whereas the whereabouts of a few families were still unknown.
Reports from rescue teams that include Kenya Red Cross and the St John Ambulance indicate that 15 people are feared to have been trapped in the rubble.

Joas Nemati, a resident, explained to a local daily that at on Monday a huge crack was repaired on the building and the residents were assured that the house was intact.
Mr Nemati stated that even though the crack was repaired, the building still came down and tenants were ordered to leave immediately but a woman and her three children refused to leave.
As at now, whereabouts of the woman and the children remain unknown.
The Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) is currently leading a rescue operation together with other rescue teams that include Kenya police, Red Cross and the St John Ambulance.
The country has in the past few years witnessed similar tragedies with a host of buildings collapsing in the city.
Last year, nearly 50 people died when a building collapsed in Huruma estate, Nairobi.
