Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama's son became a public spectacle during a political rally at the Mulu Mutisya grounds after Jubilee supporters were asked to identify him.
The middle-aged man was called up to the dais where his mother, Machakos Woman Representative hopeful Agnes Kavindu Muthama, was addressing the crowd.
"I know you have heard some gossip in the media but I ask you...who does this gentleman here resemble?" Ms Kavindu posed.
The crowd responded to the Jubilee candidate with a loud shout of the Machakos Senator's name.
"That should tell you I am still his wife," Kavindu asserted.
Kavindu's marriage to Mr Muthama has been a bone of contention between the two as the Senator expressly disowned her stating that they were divorced but she was only using his name to gain political mileage.

The new entrant to politics urged her supporters to ignore the rumours that she and Muthama are divorced adding that her commitment to serving them was undeterred.
