Education is Free You Should Now Go Back to School - DP William Ruto Tells Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho

Deputy President William Ruto and Tourism Cabinet Secretary (CS) Najib Balala launched a fierce attack at Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho accusing him of "exhibiting little education”.

DP Ruto noted that only a person with little education was capable of accusing the Jubilee government of plans to transfer the Mombasa port to Naivasha.

Addressing a rally at Kisauni, the DP noted that it was impossible to move a seaport to the dry land.

“Your governor claims that the Jubilee government wants to relocate the port of Mombasa to Naivasha. I want to ask you, how possible is it to transfer a port to a place that does not even have water?

"This is as a result of someone with a little education. I am asking Governor Joho to go back to school because education is now free,” DP Ruto noted.

CS Balala on his part echoed the DP's sentiments stating that the Governor should go back to school because his education was too little.

The DP and the CS made the remarks in reference to Joho's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams where he admitted to scoring a D- and his earlier remarks where he accused the Jubilee administration of plans to relocate the port to Naivasha.

DP Ruto urged the residents to vote in the Jubilee administration stating that they will resolve the perennial land dispute at the Coast.

He accused the Opposition of being supported by corruption noting that their manifesto was created by top corruption cartel leaders.

“We have information that Nasa’s manifesto was prepared by chief corruption cartels and so it is only (intended) to serve those cartels and not Kenyans,” he said.
