NASA Flag bearer Raila Odinga to Give Single Mothers Cheaper Housing if Elected President

National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has announced that he will provide cheaper housing and jobs for single mums if he is elected President.

Odinga noted that most single mothers live in slums and low-income estates and stated that he had an elaborate plan to improve their lives.

“Single mothers are having serious problems bringing up families. They are the ones who know what their children go through.

"My government will give them low-cost houses and jobs to cater for the needs of their families," stated Odinga.

"We are going to pay special attention to this group so they can access capital, do business or get employment to be able to look after their children properly,” stated Raila during his most recent rally in Eldoret as he prepares for the August polls.

He has often reiterated this point and even mentioned it during the Presidential debate where he pledged that housing will be cheaper, and further promised free primary and secondary education for children.

“We are going to invest as NASA in low-cost housing in the slums so our youth can get decent housing so that when they get married they can start families," added the former Prime Minister.

He also stated that once he gets power, married couples will be given loans to enable them to secure a home for their families as is the practice in Malaysia and Hong Kong.

"Low-cost housing will benefit all youth who will be working as they pay loans," he remarked.
