President Uhuru Kenyatta's second swearing in ceremony, if he wins the presidential election, will feature a chicken promised to him by a Kenyan boy.
During a live chat on Facebook on Sunday, the boy's father coveyed a special promise from his son that he would like to personally hand him a chicken when he takes the oath after the General Election.
The comment from Silas Musila read: "My son has a chicken to give you on the swearing in day."
President Kenyatta granted the special request promising that the Kenyan boy would have the opportunity to give his gift.
"I promise you if that happens, your son will be here before we drive to Kasarani. I thank him for that and tell him God bless you. Thank you very much fior that thought, " the President promised.
A viewer who sought to know the President's children were not prominent in his campaigns was told: "I don’t want them involved in the campaigns unless they do so desire. All I aspire is to create a Kenya where not just them, but any other child out there can do whatever they want."
The President also responded to various questions from viewers who tasked him with explaining several issues regarding his governance and plan if he is elected for a second term.
One such question from a viewer stated: "What will you do for our children if you win the election?"
To which the President responded by stating that the promised laptop project will be fully implemented if he is allowed to have a second term in office.
"The laptop project is well underway, most schools in our country have already received their tablets we are now preparing to ensure that going forward each school has computer labs so that children in higher classes can have access," the President conveyed.
President Kenyatta also revealed his best and worst moments during his four years as Head of State.
