At least four people were injured on Monday after a police car in President Uhuru Kenyatta's motorcade hit a matatu in Nyamira County.
President Kenyatta was coming from a rally at Gusii stadium accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto and other leaders when the vehicle hit a Nyamira Sacco matatu.
The accident is said to have occurred outside Mount Kenya University campus in Kisii town.
A source privy to the matter stated that the President's team waited for the injured to be attended to before proceeding to Kisii.
The victims were rushed to the Kisii Level V Hospital.
