The woman whose body was found lying next to that of slain IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando has been identified by her family.
Speaking to journalists, the family members identified the deceased as Caroline Ngumbu aged 21 years old.
Ngumbu had just finished studying at the Kenya Medical Training College and was due to graduate in December.

According to Ngumbu’s Sister Jedidah Wanjiku, she last spoke to the deceased on Friday at 7 pm.
Ngumbu told her sister Wanjiku that she was going out to have a few drinks with Msando and promised to be back home.
Wanjiku disclosed that Msando and her sister had known each other for several months but had denied having an affair.

Ngumbu’s mother described her as a very calm and peaceful person.
"When she told me she was going out on Friday, I did not expect to receive such news," Ngumbu's mother expressed.
She added: "This is not something that could have happened to my daughter because she is a very good person".
Msando was found dead at the city mortuary on Monday after he went missing on Friday.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati confirmed that Msando was tortured before he was killed.
Investigations on who might have killed him are ongoing.
