Three candidates vying in the Tuesday poll have been arrested by police and taken in for questioning.
The three are among five suspects who have been accused of inciting violence among residents of the banditry prone Turkana County.
Police in Isiolo's Ngaremara Ward are probing the suspects after heavy gunshots were heard in the Ward late Sunday night.
