The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has announced a major reshuffle that will see 233 officers moved from their current work stations.
Former Director of Personnel at Vigilance House, Mr Stanley Lemai, has been replaced by Mr Boniface Maingi.
Lang'ata traffic boss Fred Simuyu is also among those who have been moved to the traffic headquarters as Hardy OCPD Benjamin Kisela has been moved to the operations section at the police headquarters.
Officer Maingi has been serving in the same capacity at the General Service Unit (GSU) headquarters and wil now take over office after Mr Lemai retired several months ago.
The 233 policemen include Officers Commanding Station (OCS'), those from traffic, GSU, tourism police and general duties.
NPSC officials explained that most of the officers are being moved after serving at one station for long, however, others have been promoted and others are under disciplinary action.
The 233 officers are required to take up duties at their new stations by September 7.
