Starehe MP-elect Charles Kanyi aka Jaguar to Drop New Song 'NDOTO'

Starehe MP-elect Charles Kanyi aka Jaguar has made an interesting announcement of what he will do after being sworn in.

In a tweet, the popular musician-turned-politician noted that he will drop a new song ‘Ndoto’ on Friday after taking his oath of office.

"As I take Oath of office today to serve Starehe, I will also drop a new single tomorrow #Ndoto For the millions who walk with me in my music," Jaguar stated.

Jaguar won the Starehe Parliamentary seat after securing 52,132 votes against his closest challenger Steve Mbogo who garnered 32,357.

Following his win, Mr Njagua became the first musician in Kenya to win a parliamentary seat.

Many Kenyans thought Jaguar would take a break from music and concentrate on his parliamentary duties.

The announcement that he will be dropping a new song excited his fans who suggested that he should be allowed to perform it after taking his oath.
