Duale Warns Kenyans Against Sending Money to Raila Odinga

House Majority Leader Aden Duale has warned Kenyans against sending money to the pay bill number issued by opposition leaders on Friday.

Speaking to members of the press at Parliament buildings, Duale stated that it was a shame for NASA leader Raila Odinga to ask for money instead of votes.

"It is a con. Don't trust them.

"I was shocked to see a principal (Raila) seeking donation instead of votes and co-principal (Kalonzo Musyoka) holding a banner.

"They should stop press conferences and fundraising," he remarked.

Duale further alleged that Odinga joined the presidential race to make money and fleece young members of parliament.

"Kenyans must ignore these fraudsters. This is gambling and even cartels that were funding them have left," he added.

Mr Odinga had earlier appealed to well-wishers to financially support his campaign ahead of the October 17th election.

Speaking at Okoa Kenya Headquarters in Lavington, the former Prime Minister asked NASA supporters to make contributions of as little as 10 shillings to aid his campaign.

He equated supporting his Presidential campaign to buying a ticket to Canaan.

The M-Pesa pay bill number he gave for those who wish to support his campaigns is 991444.
