Kalonzo Musyoka's Message to Ukambani Leaders Who Visited President Uhuru at State House

NASA co-principal and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has bashed Kamba leaders who visited President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House on Monday, describing them as "self-seekers" who do not represent the interests of the community.

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Wavinya Ndeti, Senators Mutula Kilonzo (Makueni) and Enoch Wambua (Kitui) among other politicians echoed Kalonzo's sentiments and resolved to ensure that Ukambani residents vote for NASA leader Raila Odinga.

"Those who went to State House went to receive some funds but they should tell the President that back home, things are terrible.

"There are no votes that they can deliver to Jubilee," Mr Musyoka stated, adding that Jubilee would be lucky to get 10,000 votes from the region in the repeat polls.

It is reported that former Kitui Senator David Musila was the one who led the delegation to State House and Kalonzo's team stated that he (Musila) should have honourably retired given his advanced age instead of misleading the country.

During the State House function, President Kenyatta stated that the Jubilee Party would impeach opposition leader Raila Odinga, if he (Raila) wins the repeat presidential election set for October 17.

President Uhuru noted that his party has the numbers and the leaders can amend the Constitution at any time.

“If Raila is elected how will he lead? How? In the last Senate we could not pass Bills but presently, we can do business without a single NASA member," said the Head of State.

Meanwhile, Kalonzo has condemned the arrest of former Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama for alleged hate speech, saying it was not necessary to arrest him whenever Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was arrested.
