Former Governor Discloses How Uhuru is Taking Over Mudavadi's Stronghold

Former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga has revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is taking over Amani National Congress (ANC) Party leader Musalia Mudavadi's home turf.

Speaking at Shamakhokho home of former Hamisi MP Vincent Mmaitsi on Saturday, the former governor stated that the Jubilee party was steadily making ground in Vihiga County slowly edging out NASA in their perceived stronghold.

Mr Akaranga blamed the current Governor Wilbur Ottichilo observing that the opposition coalition was losing its popularity in the western county.

"NASA leaders, especially in Vihiga, are filled with selfishness which is bad for the development of this county.

"When I was in NASA, some people here fought me as if I am an outsider. They went as far as taking me to court where I was fined for using the NASA logo on my campaign materials," he disclosed.

He added that the coalition was losing its grip in Vihiga as no demonstrations had been held in the county.

"You can clearly see that in Vihiga county we have no anti-IEBC demos because people are fed up with NASA," Mr Akaranga stated.

He assured President Uhuru Kenyatta that Jubilee would garner at least 20,000 votes in each of the five sub-counties in Vihiga in the fresh elections.

"Why are Mudavadi and his renegade bitter with me for joining Jubilee yet they chased me away from their party," he lashed out at the ANC leader.

Former Vihiga MP Yusuf Chanzu reiterated Akaranga'ssentiments blaming Mudavadi for the slow development in the county.

"We have had a minister of finance, local government, deputy prime minister and a vice president but just look at our roads and markets. We are far behind.

"We want to lock Vihiga in Jubilee so we can enjoy development. The Huduma Centre was finished in a short while," Mr Chanzu maintained.
