Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga on Sunday announced that serious punishment will befall anyone who turns out to vote in the County during the repeat election scheduled for October 26th, 2017.
Addressing an Opposition rally at Mama Ngina drive in Mombasa, Governor Rasanga explained that no polls will take place in his county until IEBC implements their demands.
"We had already announced that in Siaya County there will be no elections. That is something we announced very early.
"We have also announced that if anyone goes to the polling station to vote he will be dealt with," the Governor stated.
Governor Rasanga has been leading anti-IEBC protests in the County aimed at ensuring IEBC implements their 'irreducible minimums'.

On Friday, three people NASA supporters were shot dead and three others seriously wounded during the anti-IEBC protests in the county.
The six were shot after protesters allegedly attempted to storm Bondo Police Station.
Meanwhile, NASA leader Raila Odinga on Sunday announced that there will be no election without the reforms.
Speaking at Mama Ngina grounds, Mombasa County, Mr Odinga stated that the electoral commission should relocate its server from France to Kenya.
"We do not want a server, with information about Kenyans, to be located outside the country. The server should be brought to Kenya and not France," Mr Odinga stated.

He also stated that the IEBC must demonstrat the databases being used are empty before the repeat election.
