Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar Gives President Uhuru Kenyatta 4 Conditions

Former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar has revealed the four conditions that he gave before joining the Jubilee Party.

Speaking during a luncheon at the Jubilee Hall on Friday, Omar first stated that he asked for Mombasa County to be given a bigger stake in the management of the country’s education sector.

“Our standard of education is very low. We cannot compete with others," Omar stated.

The former Senator further stated that he asked for Mombasa residents to be given more opportunities in the operations of the Mombasa port.

Omar also stated that he asked the Jubilee administration to ensure Mombasa gets more tools to fight the drugs menace in the county.

He further highlighted that he asked for the appointment of Mombasa people in all sectors that affect the country.

“If they do for us this, we will support them, if they don’t we shall look for other people,” he added.

In October, the former Wiper Secretary General divulged that he ditched the National Super Alliance (NASA) because the leadership was not supportive of his candidature

He revealed that after losing the senatorial race, none of the coalition's leaders bothered to call him.

Omar noted that Deputy President William Ruto was the first person to console him urging him not to quit politics yet. This, he said made him vow to support President Uhuru Kenyatta in the upcoming poll.
