President Uhuru Kenyatta's Sister Joins His Campaign [VIDEO]

President Uhuru Kenyatta's sister, Anna Nyokabi, made a rare appearance during his brother's campaigns to drum up support ahead of the presidential election.

Speaking in Mombasa over the weekend, Ms Nyokabi urged women in the coastal region to re-elect Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto for a second term.

She asked them to ensure no one is left at home on election day and also urged the residents to maintain peace during the election period.

"I urge you to come out in large numbers and vote. Make sure no one is left at home.

"We must make sure that Kenyatta is re-elected," stated Nyokabi.

The presidential election is just three days away and preparations are underway for the polls, although leaders allied to the opposition have maintained that no voting will take place in their strongholds.

On Sunday, President Kenyatta urged Kenyans to live in harmony after the repeat presidential election scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 26.

He also called on Kenyans to dismiss politicians who want to incite violence.

“Even as I urge all Kenyans to come out and vote, those who will vote and those who will not must remember that after October 26, they will still be neighbours and they must continue to live together harmoniously,” stated Kenyatta.

Speaking in Nakuru County during national prayers, the Head of State reiterated that Kenyans must stand firm to ensure that Kenya moves forward from politics that is derailing development.

DP Ruto, who also attended the event, assured Kenyans that God is in control of the country’s situation.

“I know there is anxiety in the country. I know there are those who do not know what will happen but we have come to Nakuru for prayers so that the country can know all is well and that God is in charge,” remarked the Deputy President.
