Jubilee Party agents on Friday delayed the announcement of results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as they locked themselves up in a hall to scrutinize the forms.
The six-hour long stand-off took place in Ol Kalou Constituency, Nyandarua County after the area lawmaker locked himself and other officials at the ACK Church hall.
Member of Parliament David Kiaraho and the County Assembly Speaker, Wahome Ndegwa, were handed Form 34A to sign at 11 am after which they went into the lockdown.

"We are tired and fed-up of camping here doing nothing. We have completed our job.
"The Returning Officer (RO) seems not to be in charge of the tallying centre. He must take charge and announce the results," one of the IEBC clerks complained.
RO Mauta Gitonga was unmoved by the dissenting voices as he maintained that the agents had a right to scrutinize the results until they were satisfied.
"We have seven days to announce the results. We are not late.
"Let the agents verify the results because that’s their job and they are free to take time doing their job," Mr Gitonga urged.
MP Kiaraho and his team would only re-emerge at 4 pm with the duly signed form. The RO would go on to announce that the process was a success with 82% voter turnout.
Speaking from the Constituency Tallying Center, Nyandarua Woman Representative Faith Gitau reiterated the sentiments, urging voters from opposition strongholds to shun violence and engage in the electoral process.
"As we accuse the police of using excessive force, let's also remember to condemn [those] who attack or provoke the police who are legally mandated to protect lives and property," Ms Gitau stated.
