The national football team trended on Friday after a friendly match scheduled to take place in Machakos County on November 14 against the Zambian team was unexpectedly cancelled.
Football enthusiasts sought to know why the match had been scrapped off. However, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) CEO Robert Muthomi inadequately stated that the challengers could not travel to Kenya.
"It's unfortunate that Zambia will not be able to honor the friendly due to what we have understood to be logistical issues around the team's travel.
"As such we have been forced to cancel the friendly and are already looking elsewhere for an alternative," he explained.
