Why Kalonzo Failed to Travel Back Home on Saturday

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka failed to travel back to Kenya from Germany on Saturday as it had been earlier scheduled.

Speaking to the Nation, Wiper Party Executive Director Dr Jared Maaka Siso explained that Mr Musyoka rescheduled his homecoming because doctors handling his ailing wife decided to transfer her to another hospital.

“The party leader has deferred coming home to Tuesday. He was supposed to return today but doctors decided to transfer his wife to another hospital," he stated.

Meanwhile, NASA principals are set to go on a retreat from next week to discuss key issues affecting the coalition.

The Nation reports that Mr Odinga's inauguration will be the top item on the agenda after it was postponed last week.

The leaders are also expected to discuss the options available for the coalition in regards to pilling pressure on the Jubilee administration.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr explained that the infighting and sharp division in the coalition will also be addressed during the retreat.

“Our principals will be seeking to arrest the growing disquiet which has dogged NASA in the last few weeks,” he stated.
