Kalonzo Drops Calls for Dialogue, Offers Final Solution to Save Kenya

National Super Alliance (NASA) Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday dropped his calls for dialogue between NASA leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

While campaigning for Edith Nyenze (wife of the former Member of Parliament Francis Nyenze) for the Kitui West Parliamentary seat at Kabati trading center, he stated that only divine intervention would keep Kenya from taking the Sudan and Somalia routes which erupted in civil war.

"Even the European Union met in Luxembourg and said dialogue among Kenyan leaders was not an option. I do not know why people are allergic to the truth. Kenya has gotten to a point where I throw my hands up and ask for God's intervention.

"I feel really pained about my country, but I do not want to make any other plea. I think I have spoken enough. I am only but a Kenyan leader who feels concerned," he stated.

He explained that his request for dialogue between the two rival politicians fell on deaf ears adding: " It appears I have been ignored."

Mr Musyoka has been on record stating that the NASA team should consider dialogue with Jubilee leaders before resorting to the swearing-in plan.

"I know God is going to do his things," he stated but clarified that it was wrong for the media to make it seem like he had issued the President an ultimatum to force him into talks.

The Wiper boss added that dialogue was necessary before the NASA's swearing-in or the country might erupt into violence.

"It will not be useful to hold dialogue in Kenya after things go haywire," he indicated.
