Kenyans online predicted the position that Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju would hold after President Uhuru Kenyatta named him a Cabinet Secretary without a portfolio.
The president added that Mr Tuju would be appointed on a need basis.
After the announcement, Kenyans tried to predict which position the Jubilee Secretary-General would assume.
Digital strategist Ahmed Mohamed stated: "Raphael Tuju is now officially the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Kenya Ghost Workers Association."
"Raphael Tuju appointed as CS of nothing, no portfolio. Okay, I don't know how this even works but damn! What did Trump say again about Africa?" another commented.

Earlier in January, Tuju stated that he would continue to serve in his current position in the party if President Kenyatta did not appoint him as a Cabinet Secretary.
Mr Tuju noted that Kenyans should focus on other matters and allow the President to choose men and women he deemed fit to serve in his cabinet.
"We have a tendency of believing propaganda so much. These baseless speculations should stop and let the President do his roles. Anyway as a party we do not want to be part of Media speculations," Tuju stated.
When asked whether he had a clue if he is among the President's appointees, Tuju only stated that he was ready to serve Kenyans in whatever capacity.
"It is the prerogative of the President to choose whom he wants to be part of his team. If he considers me as part of them so be it but for now I take all these as mere rumours," he noted.
