National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga's adviser, Salim Lone, on Monday claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is threatened by the power Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Amani Coalition leader Musalia Mudavadi are gaining in the political scene.
According to Lone, the Head of State and his deputy William Ruto, are frightened by the fact that the duo - Kalonzo and Mudavadi - are sticking with Odinga and NASA despite the pressure mounted on them to abandon him.
This, Salim explains makes Kenyatta and Ruto speculate that there could be something bigger the NASA coalition is planning other than just their initial plan to see Mr Odinga being sworn in.
"NASA leader Kalonzo Musyoka - who is self-confessed moderate- has moved very far in his progressive evolution and has resisted huge pressure to leave Raila and NASA. That he even stated two days ago that 'in the next few days we will know whether we will be in one country or two'," Lone mentioned.

Noting through a Facebook post, he added: "NASA principal and campaign head Musalia Mudavadi has similarly evolved to take tough positions on the changes needed."
Salim further declares that both are very much pushed by their bases in Western and Ukambani, who want them to stick with the NASA leader to ensure change happens.
The NASA brigade is set to swear in Odinga and Kalonzo as the People's Assembly President at Uhuru Park despite the County Government of Nairobi banning them from using the venue.
Speaking to KTN News, NASA CEO, Norman Magaya, maintained that it would continue with its plans as scheduled.

He highlighted that all the NASA supporters were expected to be seated at the historic ground by 8:30 am in an event that is expected to end at exactly 1 pm.
Magaya dismissed warnings from Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome that the Opposition should keep off the venue.
