Kalonzo Sheds Tears During Raila's Speech [VIDEO]

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka on Thursday shed tears while National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga was giving his speech during a press conference at Okoa Kenya.

Kalonzo was overwhelmed by emotions when Odinga mentioned the attack at his house where his sick wife was resting.

The NASA leader narrated to the journalists how Kalonzo'a wife, Pauline, was shocked after a stun grenade was thrown into their Karen residence during a dawn attack on Wednesday.

"I want to tell my brother Kalonzo pole (sorry) for the attack which was done in his compound against his family," Odinga stated.

My brother here has got a sick wife who is ambulant in the house. Imagine the kind of shock that such a person receives when a grenade is thrown into the compound and bullets are fired," he added.

His words left Kalonzo teary as he had late last year accompanied his wife out of the country for specialised treatment.

However, detectives from the Bomb and Hazardous Disposal Unit under the Directorate of Criminal Investigations confirmed that the device was nonlethal.

Police had confirmed that they were investigating the incident to establish who hurled the sound bomb at Kalonzo's residence.

Here is the video of Kalonzo crying during the NASA presser (min 27.30):

Karen OCPD, Cunningham Suiyanka, noted that it was impossible to know immediately who hurled the sound bomb since CCTV cameras meant to capture footages from the compound’s exterior were faulty.
