Miguna Miguna Announces NRM's Plan to Recruit Members Globally

Self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, Miguna Miguna, on Wednesday announced the plan to recruit and mobilize members worldwide.

Through his Twitter account, the former gubernatorial candidate disclosed that he would embark on a global mobilization and recruitment tour starting February 19, 2018.

He noted that the mission was to meet and strategize with the 'forces' in North America, Europe, Asia and other parts of Africa.

"To #NRMKe generals, soldiers, members, supporters, and followers worldwide: Starting next week, February 19, 2018, I will embark on an #NRMKe GLOBAL MOBILIZATION & RECRUITMENT TOUR. I will meet and strategize with our forces in North America, Europe, Asia & Africa. VIVA!," he wrote.

Miguna's announcement comes days after Nairobi High Court Judge John Mativo suspended the gazette notice outlawing the group.

In a different tweet, he affirmed that he does not have to be physically present in Kenya to fight the Jubilee administration further citing former South Africa President Nelson Mandela who fought against the Apartheid while in prison for 27 years.

"Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison fighting against apartheid. Oliver Tambo was the ANC President for most of that period. He was based in London, Dar-es-Salaam & Lusaka.

"As the #NRMKe General, I don't have to be physically in Nairobi 24/7 to fight the despots," he noted.

In reaction to Inspector General Joseph Boinnet and Director of Criminal Investigations DCI George Kinoti's application to skip the court proceedings against him, he maintained that the duo should come out and face him in court.
