Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula on Thursday warned NASA leader Raila Odinga that dumping him from the coalition would be chaotic.
This followed an ouster motion by ODM Senators who attempted to replace him with Siaya Senator James Orengo as minority leader.
ODM secretary-general Edwin Sifuna told Wetangula he was free to leave and could start 'filling the divorce papers.'
“We encourage them to fill the divorce papers. We will no longer be forced to walk on our knees so that our short friends can feel better about themselves.

“If you are shorter than me, it is not my responsibility to walk on my knees so that we can look the same," he was quoted by the Nation.
Wetangula had warned that the 'divorce' would be ugly and there would be casualties.
"If anyone wants to divorce it will be noisy, messy, unhelpful and it will have causalities. I'm not going anywhere.
"I was not invited to NASA but I'm a founder," he remarked.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, on the other hand, encouraged Wetangula to join Jubilee party following the ouster motion.
Addressing the House, Murkomen urged Wetangula to cross the floor and join the ruling party's team.
The leader of Majority stated: "The Minority leader is welcomed if NASA people are tired of him."
Murkomen, further, advised Wetangula that he should change sides as early as Tuesday next week, promising to get him a seat on the opposite side.
The legislator added that Wetangula ought to join a team that recognises and appreciates him.
