National Super Alliance (NASA) principal Kalonzo Musyoka on Saturday stated that it was time that the coalition was formally registered as a political party.
Speaking during a thanksgiving ceremony for the Machakos Woman Representative, Joyce Kamene Kasimbi at Wamunyu ABC Primary School in Mwala, Machakos County, the Wiper leader noted that individual parties should not be done away with after NASA gets registered.
He recalled that by merging opposition parties in 2002 to form the NARC coalition propelled President Mwai Kibaki to power adding that at the time parties like the Liberal Democratic Party and the National Alliance of Kenya (NAK) were not dissolved.

Kalonzo also touched on Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula's ouster as Senate Minority whip stating that the Ford Kenya leader's fate was not sealed yet.
“That is not true. You cannot seal the fate of Wetangula," Kalonzo maintained adding that the NASA summit had agreed that the senator would take up the position prior to the general elections.
On the other hand, while addressing teachers in Chwele during an annual delegates meeting of the Ngarisha Sacco, Wetangula waged a political war on Raila Odinga over what he termed as utter betrayal from the former Prime Minister.
"We have regrouped to teach you a lesson," he conveyed adding that the trio had re-energised to take Raila and Uhuru head on.
"Despite us fighting relentlessly and some people losing their lives, the subsequent conduct of our presidential candidate is not only shocking but a betrayal of the highest order, " he stated.
Similarly, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi who was conspicuously absent during NASA's most recent meeting on Thursday referred to Raila as a betrayer.

“It remains hollow without a public interest agenda and institutional framework to set it off. We in NASA had a National Agenda on dialogue which isn’t mentioned in the handshake document,” stated Mudavadi.
