"Today I had a fruitful engagement with the Secretary of State of the Spanish Government, Ministry of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Environment Ms. Maria Garcia and the Director General for Water Mrs. Liana in Madrid."
"Spain is one of the leading Countries globally with sustainable desalination technologies."
Joho disclosed that the desalination project will have a production capacity of 100,000 M3 that will supplement the bulk water supply from the proposed Mwache Dam project.
Others were optimistic that the project would change the fortunes of coastal people by creating employment opportunities.
One desalination plant will be in north mainland (Nyali or Kisauni) and the other in the south (Likoni) and will help address the perennial water shortage in the Port city.
Very commendable Sultan 001. Now as you initiate the project, let the project team know of local talent to execute hand in hand the project with them. It's a great opportunity for skills transfer and sustainability of the project(legancy yako). Droppin my credentials asap
