Larry Madowo Suffers Wardrobe Mishap on First Day at BBC

Former NTV news anchor Larry Madowo reported to BBC on Wednesday for his first day as the Business Editor.

However, his encounter at his new workplace was nothing close to what he had previously expected.

Larry had arrived at his workstation fully dressed in a suit and tie as was the norm during his 10 years at NTV.

"On my first day, I was the most overdressed person at the BBC. So this picture commemorates the first and last time I’ll show up at New Broadcasting House dressed in a full suit and tie," Madowo captioned the accompanying picture.

As usual, his fans had to make a good laugh out of the wardrobe confusion.

Can we just say you were dressing for me?

Others visited the bureaucratic nature of the Kenyan formal sector including the strict dressing code.

We still in colonial times that clothing equals to output yet its not related

There is a true definition of a news anchor in Kenya and those abroad.
There's also a vague idea that, those in kenya have to filter out their real selves via facial scrubs and suit fitting engineering consults before appearing on anchoring platforms.

N.M.G and by extension the Kenyan media indeed have very strict dressing codes.
