According to Matiang'i, the book by the acclaimed scholar provides invaluable insight on conflict prevention in a country where ethnicity and tribalism remain a delicate issue.

"The book makes interesting reading on how to fight ethnicity in our beloved country," Matiang'i stated.

This attracted a wide range of reactions from social media users.

It is only by eliminating negative ethnicity that Kenya will know lasting harmony and peaceful co-existence.

Your language & demeanor is so combative! 'Fight' ethnicity. The book's title is about building BRIDGES. Have you really read it? Ethnicity isn't the problem, tribalism is. We also have the TJRC report with very CLEAR recommendations. How about promoting THAT too aye?

Which probably will explain why most politicians won't read it...

Sir if the book is about fighting ethnicity is as unstrategic as the fight against corruption...it shall only result in more ethnicity.
