"This is a testament to the transformation that technology is bringing to people's lives."

Earlier in May, Collymore announced that he would be back in Nairobi soon.

Speaking during the company's Full Year investor briefing as the telecommunication giant announced a rise in net income from Ksh48.44 billion to Ksh55.29 billion, Collymore stated that he was heading to the last phase of treatment and is responding well.

"As you can see I am looking pretty robust. I am heading to the last phase of treatment and expect to be back to Nairobi as soon as the doctors feel that my immune system is sufficiently robust to withstand the infection risks that are usually associated with air travel.

“In the meantime, thank you all for the messages of good. I look forward to being back in action in Nairobi," he divulged.
