Aden Duale Reveals Plans to Return Miguna Miguna to Kenya [VIDEO]

House Majority leader Aden Duale revealed a plan to have controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna return to Kenya.

Speaking on Wednesday in Eastleigh Duale maintained that Miguna is a Kenyan and he will have his passport sent to him in Canada.

"Miguna atarudi na tutafanya juu chini Miguna arudi. Miguna ni Mkenya atarudi. Tunataka akirudi Kenya iwe moja... Hata Miguna tutamtumania passport," Duale stated.

The Garissa Township Member of Parliament further stated that they will receive the controversial letter who was deported to Canada three months ago.

"Akuje alakiwe afanye baraza Kisumu na kila mahali. Alafu atafute kiti 2022, ili hii Kenya iwe moja," the Garissa Township MP stated.

Duale's sentiments came barely hours before Governor Mike Sonko has nominated controversial lawyer-politician Miguna Miguna as the new Nairobi Deputy Governor.

In the letter to the Speaker of Nairobi county assembly Beatrice Elachi, Governor Sonko forwards Miguna’s name for vetting and approval.

Miguna postponed his second return date noting that the Immigration Department was yet to furnish him with a valid Kenyan passport as directed by the Court.

He was scheduled to arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on May 16 despite being deported by the Government twice over the past three months.

The Nairobi County government in March also dismissed a letter appointing East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Simon Mbugua as Deputy Governor.
