Kenyans online took the battle against alleged non-performing Members of Parliament and Senators into their own hands by giving them awards for their 'failure'.
A hashtag which trended on Wednesday morning saw tweeps call out their leaders for failing to deliver 10 months after being elected in office.
Some governors were also not left out in the tweef as netizens listed areas where the leaders had neglected and focused on political issues.
A tweep by the name Ian James wrote: The tenure of the this Parliament is dogged with credibility issues arising from claims of rampant corruption, the highest number of bad laws and pursuant of self-interest by MPs yet they are already seeking votes for 2022."

#CongratulationsMheshimiwa for the highly regressive tax regime or the massive misuse and abuse of public resources where only a quarter of the country’s budget can be accounted for. pic.twitter.com/diLWDpttLk

Come 2022 you don't need to show them what you did for people when you can show them clips of how my you were shouting about that moment and 'how you were right' politically. #CongratulationsMheshimiwa

In sarcastic tweets, a netizen Polycarp Hinga stated: "Today let's join hands in thanking and congregating our MPs for fitting the work of five years in just a few months."
He added: "Obviously our MPs and Senators are out there politicking about 2022 because they are great guys who have already finished the work."
MPs Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu), Charles Njagua (Starehe), Ferdinand Wanyonyi (Kwanza), Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) were among the few Parliamentarians who were called out.
Governors, Senators and Woman Representatives were also not left out of the list with Kiambu county boss Ferdinand Waititu being listed alongside his Machakos counterpart Alfred Mutua and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.
Tweeps further expressed their disappointment with Senators Irungu Kang'ata (Murang'a) and Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet) for engaging in politics when the taxpayers are struggling to make ends meet.
#CongratulationsMheshimiwa for looting all our taxes, squeezing more taxes from us, collapsing our health sector, collapsing our education system, for giving no damn about us, for raping our mothers and sisters, for killing us with poison, congratulations once again mheshimiwa.
