Opposition leader Raila Odinga's members of National Super Alliance (NASA) secretariate have been given top state appointment.
In what may be key changes in President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration, the former premier's allies seem to have been beneficiaries of the shake-up.
In the reshuffle announced on Friday, Uhuru appointed Kathleen Openda as the Chairperson of the Council of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
Ms Openda has been the director in charge of communication and media at the secretariat which ran Raila's 2017 election campaigns.

Additionally, Education CS Amina Mohammed appointed Joe Owaka Ager as Chairperson of the Placement Board for the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Mr Ager is the coalition's director of operations.
The two are among the appointees for state parastatal jobs, following new reforms made by the State House on Friday.
Former Nation CEO Linus Gitai and the previous Deputy Inspector General of police Joel Kitili are among those who have landed jobs in the latest appointments.
Gitai has been selected as a non-executive Chairperson of the Brand Kenya Board, for a period of three years, his appointment consequently revoking that of billionaire Chris Kirubi.
Whereas, Kitili will be the Chairperson of the Board of the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation, also for a period of three years.
