Makueni Woman Rep's Daring Request to Kamba Women

Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo has asked women from the Kamba language group to ensure that they always sleep without their innerwear.

The woman rep argued that sleeping without a panty would reduce cases of sexual assault and ensure their husbands do not experience sexual frustration.

In an interview with The Nairobian, Museo claimed that the practice would initiate the process of national reconciliation which begins at home.

She argued that men in various workplaces cannot be productive when they have been denied their conjugal rights.

"Part of the anger experienced among many Kenyans starts at the family level. When a man leaves the house unhappy, he cannot serve his country well.

"Be brave and treat your husbands well so that they leave their house for work happy men. That way, they will serve the nation well," she stated.

Museo advocated for publicly stripping men who defile minors as part of the punishment for the act.

"We will not sit and watch as the future of our young girls is being destroyed.

"Whenever the government delays to take action against such culprits, I will mobilise fellow women to publicly humiliate the suspects buy undressing them in an open market to see how big his manhood is," she threatened.

Museo is one of the 14 men and women appointed to spearhead the Building Bridges committee formed following the March 9 handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga
